Kristin was a small business owner for 17 years before getting involved in community development and nonprofit management. As a Director of a Community Development Corporation in Oregon; she excelled at attracting resources to her community and became an accomplished grant writer. She used her knowledge and understanding of small business needs to bring the tools and positive changes to help the businesses in her community grow. When she moved to Idaho, she put her business and nonprofit management acumen to work for the Snake River Animal Shelter and helped them grow for 51/2 years. She currently works for East Idaho Credit Union and loves who she works with and what she does to serve businesses daily, as their Treasury Management Officer. She is a mother of 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls and has been married to her best friend, John, for almost 32 years.
