McKayla Matlack

McKayla began her career with Development Workshop almost 16 years ago and has served in senior leadership roles for the past decade.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Chadron State College, Chadron, Nebraska. She earned Non-Profit Executive Certification from the Society of Nonprofits in 2019. She has served as a surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) since 2017, surveying disabilities service agencies nationwide.

Currently she is a wife and mother, married 16 years to Nate and has a 14 year old Natalie and 11 year old Cooper. McKayla has served as President of the Civitan Club of Idaho Falls. She was Instrumental in creating the Hearts and Hands inclusive Civitan Club and organized and chartered the first local Community Junior Civitan Club. She has been recognized as Civitan of the year, DWI Employee of the Year, and is a past recipient of the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce Distinguished under 40 award.

Her passion and dedication to individuals with disabilities aligns with Development Workshops vision of promoting a society that accepts, values, and utilizes the ability and potential of all people.
